The Original Friddle

Making cooking easier since 1968!

What's a Friddle?

Think frying pan meets griddle. But better than that.

It’s efficient; made from high-quality copper bearing aluminum, the Friddle
provides fast and consistent heat distribution across a large cooking surface.

It’s versatile; you can use it on the stove, in the oven, on the BBQ, or even over the campfire.

It’s durable; the heavy-duty Friddle stands up to years of use.

It’s easy; the premium coating prevents food from sticking, and cleanup is easy with just a damp cloth.

On the stove. In the oven. on the bbq.

The Friddle covers two burners at once, increasing your cooking area. It works on all stoves: gas, electric, ceramic and glass.

The Friddle fits in any standard oven and works as the perfect baking sheet.

The Friddle fits on any standard BBQ. You can also bring it camping and use it on the campfire for easy outdoor cooking.

Our Story

Family Owned. Family Operated.

The Friddle was invented in Kingston, Ontario in 1968 by metal fabricator Arthur “Art” Graves. It was conceived out of necessity; Art's wife Shirley wanted a frying pan big enough to handle cooking breakfast for the whole family all at once.

Art accepted the challenge, and a few days later in his shop – Graves Brothers on Railway Street in Kingston - the Friddle was born!

Still family owned and operated, and still manufactured locally, the Friddle has been featured in Cottage Life magazine, appeared on the fishing show Rod & Reel, and has been shipped around the world.
